They have lived in hell; they are not devils; now they want out.

For the children scavanging for love that eludes them; for that love set loose at the cradle, bring it back... Free and ransomed by God's love.

Unmentioned

Slim departure,

Walking around

Maybe sleeping,

Jumping, wailing around.

Mental widget on

Him, day, night.

Fangs of possessed poison

Him away, kept.

Slicing you with imperfections,

But know not,

Unmentioned…

That embrace,  warmth….

To last eternity.

Though not here yet…

Nay, not here yet.

Promise still sprouts

In to life.

Falling Knife.

Broken trust mended, unrestored.
Compassion was currency
To trade desire
That flooded their loins
Pleasure assaulting worth;
Less, friendship needs
Like catching falling knife
Off the rotten reef …

Then,
Visually starved stare
No excitement ,
Heart buoyant ,
Attitude perfect ,
Guilt of Judas!
towing every conscience
purchasing marital union
at the base of the altar
our zoar
along worn out paths.
Arduous trek.

Nostalgic Nudge

Then,
When the chase halted,
Her back glued against the wall,
Like son of Joseph
Her hands wide stretched,
Her-lings right behind her
Where there was no scar,
Staring at multi- pairs of eyes,
Terminating only hope.

But dawn came fast
Numbness from pain, anguish…
We witnessed the sun together,
Gain to all and sundry
Made it no secret.
Nostalgic nudge…
‘hope for another rise,
remembering promises.
Rain came in excess swept off feet
Sun too in excess dried them firm…

Concreted faith,
She believed.

Them Test You

More and more,
Them beaches
Then sands of beaches
At their see,
Crave to meet me;
In unscene places,
And the say,
‘ you are such a deer,’
Them test you…
And then tear me down,
And ad my linen,
Their action steels hurt,
But I dye inside,

And become a tail to cell,

That,
Just camouflages me!

Abba

Of Abba,
Amidst varied convictions,
Who controls the towers,
Less rationality
Yardstick beyond earthly reasoning.
Yet,
When the truth not popular,
In your lenses transparency is
No human deserves trust
Safe for nature.
Is it your word promising your presence
Among many?

Of maternal instinct gear,
And cocktails of them…
Adoration like spell bound
Hearts on sale for actions
Moral monsters on lose,
Sneaking modesty in every word
Underneath practiced smiles
Lies morgue of hope…

Of enough sadness for a lifetime.
For grace wasn’t evenly available.
So I sign a pledge,
At the bottom of agony
Plea-bargain for all of them
That were broken and omitted
Willfully and unwillfully
Before they rise like wild tides…

Weigh me on mercy scale
Put me home.
So be it.

Frozen Angst.

I walk steadily to your cowl,
Too much safety and just
Your hand inside mine
We look up at the tower of love
Until our sun rests.

Back with morning brightness
Cherishing me and you
Our time together summers
Affection in abundance
So we leave and live.

Then love so pepper hot,
Roller coasting across my heart,
Suddenly…
Commitment loosened,
You nicknamed it translucent,
That raided peace of my mind.

You walked right ahead,
Lighter in heart and spirit
Here pride chocked me to coma!
Erased every memory and Cherish?
Named it frozen angst…

Overdue.

When our sun shone
There were two shadows
On the uneven ground.
Of us strutting left, then right
Watching the sun go up and down

Long and short, dark and light
Christmas, everyday.

One morning the clouds covered our sun

The right was still bright .
You looked that way
Then the reflection in you eyes .
Made the discovery
Malfunction in my veins
Became more visible now .
Your grip loosened
And you let go.
I became officious
Pursued and gave up.

Just Me

With all the souls…
And all the choices…
And all the differences…
With the uniqueness…
Of creation.

To their left,
Stand up, sit down,
Laugh, cry,

To their right,
Come, go
Sing and cry…

To the front
Walk like this,
Dance like this.

And the back
Push it, fixed it
Discard…

With all the variety
Just a single choice
Looming to opt
Is, I am; I will
ME.

Hoped For Tomorrow

Once upon a fate
Our balanced hearts
Hanging on their decision
Snatching your attention
Merits lined for their bare opinion
Shaking your emotional ownership
But we waited.

I trippled over
But didn’t fall
Halted their common thought,
The load was too large
And the weight too much
It was ours

Those forces that came
Too much for me
We could
All the while
Wanted to look back
I did not, thought us
Hoped for tomorrow
It was ours.

You listened to them
So much you feared us
Too much you mind them
So much, and waited,
And waited still,
And hoped,
For He promised…
It would be ours.

SweetHurt

Once upon a feeling
The identified two
Cruising down love slope
With no bumps nor humps
No any iceberg nor nausea
At super speed
Like a roller coaster
Destination came fast
All in a jerky ending
We had to change course
But all had to go on
Amidst the seastorm
Rocking our stability side to side
A new turn altogether

The voyage grew to turmoil
Strides never came easy
Spiced with falling
Bruises here and here
On and on just forged
Palm interlocked in intended harmony
As I tow right behind
In faith of the lead

Then it did strike
For the second time
But you couldn’t take it
No, not any more
Then you let go
And duck for dear life
From the unknown
Endurance in your far distance

I kept on back
Amassed in the itching wound
Neither equiped for such contest
That lasted an eternity
The scar now very visible
Still my feet itch thatward
Their indescrete noise
Bounce on my lobes
My heart, the sacrificial lamb
On their altar of love
Then their chants of pity,
then their random rage
Never stopped my wide ambitions
Towards the evident destination.

SURROGATE ENEMY

Take me back to the old Paths,
Moms were at home; Dads were at work,
Children were children…
Brothers went into the army; sisters got married
BEFORE having children!

Crime did not pay; hard work did;
People knew the difference…
Moms could cook; Dads would work,
Children would go to school…
Husbands were loving; Wives were supportive,
Children were polite…
Women wore the dresses; Men wore the trousers,
Women looked like ladies; Men looked like gentlemen;
and children looked decent…

People loved the truth, and hated a lie;
They came to church to get IN; Not to get OUT!
Hymns sounded Godly; Sermons sounded helpful,
Rejoicing sounded normal; and crying sounded sincere…
Cursing was wicked; Drinking was evil,
Divorce was unthinkable…
Read the Bible in public; Prayed in school,
Homes read the Bible; churches taught the Bible.
Gospel was real…

To be called a Christian was worth living for;
To be called a traitor was a shame!
Marriage was perpetually permanent.
Sex was a personal word; Homosexual was an unheard of word,
Abortion was an illegal word; taboo word…

Preachers preached because they had a message;
Christians rejoiced because they had the VICTORY!
Preachers preached from the Bible;
Singers sang from the heart;
Sinners turned to the Lord to be SAVED!

Salvation meant a changed life;
Laws were based on the Bible;
Following Christ led to eternal life…

Preachers were more interested in new converts
than new clothes, new cars, offering…
Church was where you found Christians,
Give me that old time religion!
It’s good enough for me!

Ice On The Other End

The valley was deep
The mountain so high
The path ragged…
And the hands, sky away
To grasp me to normalcy
My eyes wandered around
No one in vicinity
Came back to spend perpetual hours
On knees,
begging God please,
For in that state
Bitterness comes easier
And prayer came easiest,
Where I landed.
Within His valid promise.
